Faceted Multicolor Tourmaline Pendant Necklace
Lovely, lovely Tourmaline, with such varied colors I could not resist creating a piece to display the rainbow they become when grouped together. To create the framework for the abacus like grid of stones, I formed heavy gold-filled wire and wrapped it with a very fine gauge of the same wire. Gold-filled beads in both matte and shiny finishes are all that I needed to complement these sparking faceted rounds. The oval pendant is suspended from a oval link gold-filled chain and is secured with a spring ring clasp making it adjustable in size with a maximum length of 18-1/2".
